Marla

Day 15
A short distance south of Alice, we called into the Stuart Well Roadhouse in search of bacon and egg sandwich.

We found that camel and kangaroo pies were also on the menu.  Sally settled for a sausage roll and I selected a roo pie.  Luckily, as just out see was a pet camel and I would have felt a little guilty eating a camel pie in front of him.

About 2k further down the road is the Cannonball Run memorial.  The spot 4 people met their demise during the inaugural running of the event.  This happened before I moved to Darwin but was fresh in the minds of the people I met there.
