We found that camel and kangaroo
pies were also on the menu. Sally
settled for a sausage roll and I selected a roo pie. Luckily, as just out see was a pet camel and
I would have felt a little guilty eating a camel pie in front of him.

About 2k further down the road is
the Cannonball Run memorial. The spot 4
people met their demise during the inaugural running of the event. This happened before I moved to Darwin but
was fresh in the minds of the people I met there.
