Richmond

Day 4 & 5

Only a slight detour on the way to Richmond lead us to the Porcupine Gorge Lookout.  Quick stop for photo opportunity.
Mike, Jan, Sal and Col at Porcupine Gorge Lookout.

Camped out at Lakeside Van Park just a stone’s throw from Lake Fred Tritton.  Beautiful location but the wind and the flies took the edge off.

The next day Mike and Jan took off to fossick for fossils and Sal and I milled around town.  We checked out the Cambridge Downs Heritage Centre and then Sal abandoned me to wander through Kronosaurus Korner unsupervised.  (I guess she didn’t want to compete with all the other fossils).

Being a Sunday, it was almost a given that if a roast was on, we would be there.
