Day 36
Although we didn’t stay in
Ilfracombe, only 30km east of Longreach, we’ve dedicated a post due to it being
the home of The Lynn Cameron Machinery Mile.
Both Mike and Colin were keen to work up the mile admiring all the
historic machinery laid out on display.
Here are some shots:

On the mile there stood a shed
hold an extraordinary rifle and shotgun, and a collection of old bottles including
this one from my childhood in Tassie.

Sally drew Cols attention to some
interesting décor in the local Wellshot Hotel where she and Jan had waited
patiently with coffee for Mike and Col to complete their wanderings.
